Growing up my favorite subject was art class. I loved to be creative and when I became a single parent in 1987, I decided to use my creative gifts to give me a flexible work schedule. While my daughter was growing up I decorated cakes and treats, made chocolate covered caramel pretzels, designed scrapbooks for people, personalized the front cover of scrapbooks, etched glass, fused glass, made cards and much more.
In 2013 I graduated from The University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and associate’s degree in business with the dean distinguished achievement award degree. After graduation and not landing a job that used my degree, I fell in love with making cards all over again but on a much more professional level. I purchased a Cuddlebug and then a Cricut die cut machine and it all started. I became an addict buying literally thousands of other crafting supplies and went to work making cards. People loved them! I started getting orders from friends. People would send me their lists of birthdays, anniversaries, wedding etc. for the entire year. I design cards with salutations made simple.
