Growing up my favorite subject was art class. I loved to be creative and when I became a single parent in 1987, I decided to use my creative gifts to give me a flexible work schedule.  While my daughter was growing up I decorated cakes and treats,  made chocolate covered caramel pretzels, designed scrapbooks for people, personalized the front cover of scrapbooks, etched glass, fused glass, made cards and much more.

In 2013 I graduated from The University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and associate’s degree in business with the dean distinguished achievement award degree. After graduation and not landing a job that used my degree, I fell in love with making cards all over again but on a much more professional level. I purchased a Cuddlebug and then a Cricut die cut machine and it all started. I became an addict buying literally thousands of other crafting supplies and went to work making cards. People loved them! I started getting orders from friends. People would send me their lists of birthdays, anniversaries, wedding etc. for the entire year. I design cards with salutations made simple.

Why Greeting Cards

In the age of social media and technology we don’t get that little special gift in the mail anymore. You know people still love getting something special especially handmade and handwritten today. This art will not change. A card in the mail lifts the spirits of any receiver. It’s an art form that shows those who receive the card, the time and effort put into it just for them.

As I began thinking about all the subscriptions people sign up for now naming a few like Netflix, Hulu, Surprise Boxes ordering their clothes, ties, make up, magazines and much more on line, I thought what if I could do that with cards? Imagine receiving a box of a variety of handmade cards each month with 4, 6 or even 10 cards each made with you in mind. I can even personalize them to make them extra special. It takes the guess work out of what to send. I can even make it simpler for you and mail the card out for you so you don’t miss that special event.

So take a quick tour of my site and see what I can do to make your life easier and make sure you order some greeting cards. I also have craft supplies and scrapbook kits on Etsy and Amazon for those looking to make some creative things themselves. Thanks so much for stopping by and maybe one day we can sit on a porch somewhere and sip some iced tea and enjoy some good conversation.

From my home, to yours. God bless!
